Intro All my friends are married, the rest are dead. Refrain Hey, I want you to know that I’m glad I had you by my side when I needed it the most Hey you I want you to know that I’ll be there for you, just give me a sign and I will come for you Just give me a sign, just give me a sign Verse 1 It was a Friday in September around four o’clock when they finally reached me on my phone We were looking for him since 8 a.m. and wondered where he might have gone Ramona was the first, to get the news and she texted me: “Please answer your phone and call me back! It’s an emergency!” Verse 2 In moments like this, when all is dark we can see the light around the corner. When we find ourselves, in the arms of our friends and cry on their shoulders. Through grief we reach acceptance and our hearts will fill with love and even though we truly miss our friend. Life goes on and some of us got married and we’re all happy in the end. Outro Why, tell me why? Why didn’t you talk to us?

Verse 1 There were moments in my life, when all fell apart And I didn’t have no sense of satisfaction in the dark But in a moment of devotion and reflection it hit me That there is life and there is love and there is you and there is me Chorus When you wake up and you open your eyes And you feel grateful to be alive Carry on, the world’s in your hand Don’t waste no time my friend Verse 2 I was tired of my self-pitty, that I’ve built over time I had to take responsibility for this life that I call mine I remembered this old saying, my dear friend used to sing How “all we’ve got is time” and how we waste it constantly Verse 3 That’s exactly the moment when I promised to myself To focus on the good things and moments in my life Like you, my love, my friends and family And all the tiny little things that matters most to me Chorus Bridge There is an infinite number of possibilities Of “what ifs” and “what whens” and uncertainties But I don’t let myself go down this road again I hold the outcome and the future of my life in my own hands Whatever has happened in the past Whatever will be will be The only thing that matters is now The future is you, the future is me
3.
Verse How are you, how do you do? (You) put your faith in crossed fingers and horse shoes Since the day, you were born Why so serious, why so serious? Refrain Never be ashamed of a scar It (only) means, that you’ve become stronger We stopped looking for monsters under our own bed Because they are inside our head
4.
Verse 1 They called us “Hatemakers” , “the Hardworkers” and many names more There were times when we didn’t know what we’ve been called before But time will heal all wounds, as they say and so we take it We’ve been and will forever be “Hendricks the Hatmaker” Verse 2 We travelled to the north, played in a smuggler’s forest We spent nights and nights in smelly pubs and danced with some pirates. We woke up and went on, as long as one of us could drive We loved what we did, this band it was our life. Refrain So raise your glasses and join us to sing along Let’s sing for what’s behind and what’s still to come So raise your glasses, may you be happy or sad. Here’s to all the living and the dead! Verse 3 Moments become memories, and memories remain So I swear from today until I die. I will always remember you my friend, you’re in my heart and tears will be washed with a smile Outro Here’s to the memories, here’s to all the songs to the evenings we spent, and to the stories we told Here’s to all the friends we found on the road and here’s to you, my friend!

about

The start to a new chapter. After Reni's dead we start over again with new music, new style, new feelings.
Not angry about the past, but lucky to whatever may come.
Here's to the memories, here's to all our friends, to the evenings we spent, to the stories we've told, here's to friends we found on the road and here's the you my friend.
Here's to all the living and the dead.

about

Hendricks the Hatmaker Switzerland

Hendricks the Hatmaker, that’s Nicolas, Stefan and Ramona, combine the three musical genres of “Gin”, “Millinery” and „Butt- Kicking”.

Guitars, drums, bass, and even from time-to-time an acoustic instrument, complement each other almost as perfectly as cucumber and tonic water.

They now continue with their plan to take over the world as a classic punk-power-trio.
