Ein Liedtext, welcher aus einzelnen Notizen, geschrieben auf dem Schlachtfeld von Verdun entstanden ist. Im Zentrum steht dabei die Frage nach der Sinnhaftigkeit einer passiven Haltung gegenüber der zunehmend gehässigen und menschenverachtenden Stimmung in Europa. Der Mensch scheint auch nach zwei grossen Kriegen schon wieder zu vergessen zu was wir als Rasse fähig sind. Eine unablässige kritische Auseinandersetzung damit ist unablässig. Dieses Lied will die Diskussion dazu aufrecht halten ohne zu lehrmeistern sondern vielmehr die vielen menschlichen Schicksale ins Zentrum zu stellen.
